CHECK YOUR HALYARD OFTEN:
Replace your halyard if it shows signs of fraying. This helps you avoid costly replacement.
SNAPS SHOULD BE CHECKED REGULARLY:
Keeping your snaps & cover in great shape protects the finish of your flagpole. Replace snaps or covers when needed.
Tightly wrap halyard around the pole to prevent the snaps from banging against the finish.
CLEANING YOUR FLAGPOLE:
Using a mild water/bleach solutions removes most dirt & dust build up on your flagpole. *Avoid using a high pressure washer.
Scrub marks, grass stains etc. can often be removed with a magic eraser type pad.
Your pole can be polished with a non-abrasive cleaning compound safe fiberglass.
Never use sandpaper or abrasives on the finish.
